Resolution relative to accepting the sole source proposal of Core Vision IT Solutions LLC for providing Palo Alto Firewall Subscription Service for a total net sum of $8,710.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing Division has reported that it has received a proposal for providing Palo Alto 2050 Firewall Subscription Service for the IT Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Core Vision IT Solutions LLC be accepted; and,
WHEREAS, the IT Department has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection because Core Vision IT Solutions LLC is the only source for this subscription service that is designed for the firewall hardware that we own.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated March 26, 2015 submitted by Core Vision IT Solutions LLC for providing a 1 year subscription service for $8,710.00 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid service.
