Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Dell Marketing L.P. for furnishing Microsoft Office licenses for a total sum of $91,417.50.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a cooperative proposal through the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration for furnishing and delivering Microsoft Office license upgrades for the West Allis Public Library and IT Department of the City of West Allis; that the proposal received was reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Dell Marketing L.P. be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated August 30, 2011 submitted by Dell Marketing L.P. for furnishing three hundred seventy nine (379) VLA Microsoft Office Standard 2010 license at $235.50 and thirty five (35) VLA Office Pro Plus 2010 license at $61.80 for a total sum of $91,417.50 in accordance with State Bureau of Procurement Bulletin 15-20800-001 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that uncommitted funds in certain intradepartment IT accounts are hereby approved for transfer into the IT software subscription account (5203).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the appropriate charges are allocated to the appropriate Special Revenue Enterprise Funds for their respective portion of these costs.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid licenses.
