Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Ferguson Waterworks and First Supply LLC for furnishing and delivering chimney seals, water boxes and extensions for a total sum of $87,651.28.

WHEREAS, The Purchasing Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering chimney seals, water boxes, extensions and various related hardware for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposals of Ferguson Waterworks and First Supply LLC be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated February 3, 2016 submitted by Ferguson Waterworks for furnishing corporation stops, curb stops, water boxes and extensions in the amount of $47,559.50; and the proposal dated February 4, 2016 submitted by First Supply LLC for furnishing chimney seals, adaptors, water boxes and extensions in the amount of $40,091.78 for the total net sum of $87,651.28 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP 1308 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid materials.
