Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Ferguson Waterworks for furnishing and delivering chimney seals & chimney seal bands for a total sum of $37,315.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received proposals for furnishing and delivering chimney seals and chimney seal bands for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Ferguson Waterworks be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated March 23, 2012 submitted by Ferguson Waterworks for furnishing sixty (60) Cretex 092808 26" chimney seals for $15,060.00; forty (40) Cretex 092834 26" chimney seals for $10,880.00; two hundred (200) Cretex 092639 26" Internal Chimney Seal Bands for $9,100.00 and fifty (50) Cretex 092628 24" Internal Chimney Seal Bands for $2,275.00 for a total sum of $37,315.00 in accordance with City of West Allis Bid #2312 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid material.
