Resolution approving the amendment to the Community Development Block Grant Action Plan, B-07-MC-55-0011, creating a Community Centennial Plaza Park Project at 7525 W. Greenfield Avenue with a budget not to exceed $100,000. Funds for the project will be made available with a reduction of $100,000 from the Contingency Fund.
Body
WHEREAS, the Community Centennial Plaza Park is a community project to enhance a public gathering place for local events and celebrations; and,
WHEREAS, the Project involves the installation of an amphitheatre with seating for more than 100 people, a new decorative fountain, Centennial plaques, picnic and checkerboard tables, and landscaped gardens; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Development has recommended approval of the transfer of funds according to the attached budget and plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the amendment is hereby approved to the Community Development Block Grant Action Plan,
B-07-MC-55-0011, creating a Community Centennial Plaza Park Project in the amount of $100,000 with funds made available through a reduction of $100,000 to the Contingency Fund.
