Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Graybar Electric Co., Inc. for furnishing and delivering street light poles for a total sum of $85,514.75.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering steel street light poles for the 70th Street construction project, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Graybar Electric Co., Inc. be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated February 24, 2004 submitted by Graybar Electric Co. for furnishing and delivering fourteen (14) Holophane NY30RT-S/RAL6005/AB/OAL013902 twin-arm poles for a total net sum of $85,514.75 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid material.
