Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Kubota Tractor Corp. for furnishing a new 2013 Kubota Tractor with Mower for a total sum of $16,316.40.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a joint purchase proposal through the National Joint Power Alliance (NJPA Contract 081209-KBA) for furnishing one (1) tractor with mower for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Kubota Tractor Corp. be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated August 21, 2013 submitted by Kubota Tractor Corp. for furnishing one (1) 2013 Kubota F2680E tractor, with F36-60" mower for a total net sum of $16,316.40 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
