Resolution authorizing a Lease Agreement by and between the City of West Allis and the Little League West Allis for Baseball Facilities located on a portion of Reservoir Park.
Body
WHEREAS, the City is the owner of the property known as Reservoir Park, see attached Exhibit "A" Reservoir Park Map; and,
WHEREAS, the Little League West Allis is in need of baseball facilities to expand their existing baseball complex; and,
WHEREAS, the Common Council approved Resolution R-2003-0058 which provided for the Little League to lease their current facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the Director of Public Works and Engineering is hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the City to enter into a lease agreement generally consistent with the attached LITTLE LEAGUE RESERVOIR PARK LEASE.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works and Engineering is hereby authorized to negotiate the Terms and Conditions of said Lease Agreement at his discretion, subject to the approval of the City Attorney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized to make such substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various provisions of the Agreement, including any and all attachments, exhibits, addendums and amendments, as may be necessary and proper to correct inconsistencies, eliminate ambiguity and otherwise clarify and supplement said provisions to preserve and maintain the general intent thereof, and to prepare and deliver such other and further documents as may be reasonably necessary to complete the transactions contemplated therein.
