Title

Resolution relative to deleting the City of West Allis Policies & Procedures Manual Nos. 1901 through 1911, under Public Library.

Body

WHEREAS, upon recent review of Library Policies by staff, it has been determined that under Chapter 43 of the Wisconsin State Statutes, the Library Board is charged with establishing and enforcing policies pertaining to the Public Library, which supersedes any sections of the City of West Allis  Policies and Procedures Manual; and,

WHEREAS, it is recommended that Policy Nos. 1901 through 1911, Public Library, be deleted from the City of West Allis Policies & Procedures Manual and that the policies of the Library Board control library operations.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that Policy Nos. 1901 through 1911 be deleted from said City of West Allis Policies & Procedures Manual.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that directions concerning deletion of said policies be communicated to all departments, divisions, and offices.
