Title

Resolution relative to selecting Heritage Research, LTD to provide the City of West Allis with a Citywide Historic Property Survey in the amount not to exceed $17,498.58.

Body

WHEREAS, the City of West Allis has received a $17,500.00 grant from the Federal Government Department of Interior, administered by the Sate Historic Preservation Office of the State of Wisconsin; and,

WHEREAS, the City of West Allis Department of Development (the “Department”) requires a Historic Property Survey for the City of West Allis; and,

WHEREAS, the Scope of Services, Exhibit A, and the work program, Exhibit B attached, involves a Citywide Historic Property Survey; and,

WHEREAS, said work will help discover potential historic properties and resources will clarify potential historic districts and neighborhoods; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to provide for consultant services for the proposed Citywide Historic Property Survey.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis as follows:

1. That the Scope of Services, Exhibit A and the Work Program, Exhibit B, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, be and is hereby approved.

2. That the Director of Development is hereby authorized and directed to select Heritage Research, LTD the aforesaid work.

3. That a sum not to exceed Seventeen Thousand Four Hundred Ninety Eight and 58/100 Dollars ($17,498.58) be and is hereby appropriated to pay the liability that will accrue to the City of West Allis under this Contract and be reimbursed by the State Historic Preservation Office of the State of Wisconsin.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized to make such substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various provisions of the Agreement, including any and all attachments, exhibits, addendums and amendments, as may be necessary and proper to correct inconsistencies, eliminate ambiguity and o...
