Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of JSO Technology LLC for providing Palo Alto Router/Firewall subscription service for a total net sum of $21,462.50.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a proposal for providing a Palo Alto 2050 Firewall subscription for the IT Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of JSO Technology LLC be accepted; and,
WHEREAS, the IT Department of the Department of Administration & Finance has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection because it is the only device that will combine our firewalls, router log analyzers, network monitors and SNMP graph analyzers into one devise.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal submitted by JSO Technology LLC for one (1) Palo Alto 2050 Firewall with Threat and URL filtering subscriptions and support for the total net sum of $21,462.50 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
