Title
An Ordinance to Establish the Salaries of Certain Employees in the Administrative and Clerical Service of the City of West Allis for the Years 2008, 2009 and 2010.

Body
The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:

PART I. The salaries for employees of the Administrative and Clerical Service of the City of West Allis, commencing January 1, 2008, shall be as noted in Attachment 1 (Schedule R and P).

PART II. The salaries for employees of the Administrative and Clerical Service of the City of West Allis, commencing January 1, 2009, shall be as noted in Attachment 2 (Schedule R and P).

PART III. The salaries for employees of the Administrative and Clerical Service of the City of West Allis, commencing January 1, 2010, shall be as noted in Attachment 3 (Schedule R and P).

PART IV. ADDITIONAL PAY PROVISIONS.
a.) Dispatchers when conducting training duties for Dispatcher Trainer positions shall receive one dollar ($1.00) per hour for every hour worked.

PART V. STEP INCREMENTS.
Any employee appointed, promoted, or reclassified to a higher position, shall move in classification from the minimum step to the maximum step in annual increments, on the anniversary date of appointment, promotion, or reclassification. Any employee promoted or reclassified to a higher position shall be advanced to that step, which will result in a pay increase of not less than $8.00 bi-weekly.

In the event any of the positions listed in this salary ordinance have been reallocated to a pay range higher than the pay range in which they were listed in the salary ordinance in effect immediately preceding this salary ordinance, or during the period this salary ordinance is in effect any position is reallocated to a pay range higher than the pay range herein provided, employees affected shall be placed in the same step in the reallocated pay range as they were in under the previous pay range or the pay range herein provided, and shall retain t...
