Title

An Ordinance to Create Subsection 9.18(7)(u) of the Revised Municipal Code Relating to the Prohibition of Selling Within Designated Areas Around the Wisconsin State Fair Park.

Body

The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:

PART I.      Subsection 9.18(7)(u) of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis is hereby created to read:

9.18      DIRECT SELLERS AND SOLICITORS

(7)      Prohibited Practices

(u)      No person, corporation, or other entity shall, during the dates established for the Wisconsin State Fair by the State Fair Park Board under Section 42.01 of the Wisconsin Statutes, engage in any direct selling under this section within an area bounded by the north City limits, the east side of South 84^th Street, the north side of West Greenfield Avenue and the west side of South 77^th Street.  The center line of each designated street or avenue shall constitute the outer edge of the boundary.  

PART II.      All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

PART III.      This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
