Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Graybar Electric and Gexpro for furnishing and delivering Street Lamps for a total sum of $49,063.80.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering street lamps for the Public Work's Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposals of Graybar Electric and Gexpro be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated October 20, 2011 submitted by Graybar Electric for furnishing 1,356 low pressure sodium lamps for $33,049.92 and 1,836 high pressure sodium lamps for $13,965.24 and the proposal dated October 10, 2011 submitted by Gexpro for furnishing 64  PAR38 LED lamps for a total amount of $2,048.64 in accordance with City of West Allis RFQ #1137 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
