Title

Resolution relative to approval of the City of West Allis' Grant Application for the Development of a 2030 Comprehensive Plan.

Body

WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of West Allis agrees to the preparation of a application for a grant for the development of the City of West Allis 2030 Comprehensive Plan; and,

WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of West Allis acknowledges the requirements of Wisconsin's Comprehensive Planning Legislation including the adoption of the plan (s. 66.1001. Stats.), the benefits of comprehensive planning, and funding that would be awarded by the Wisconsin Department of Administration to financially assist the community in preparation of the Comprehensive Plan; and,

WHEREAS, the City of West Allis 2030 Comprehensive Plan requires a local match from the City of West Allis.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of West Allis hereby agrees to apply for a grant for the development of the City of West Allis 2030 Comprehensive Plan pursuant to Wisconsin Statute S. 66.1001.
