Resolution declaring West Allis Ala Carte scheduled for June 8, 2008 between 11:00 A.M. and 7:00 P.M. as a Community Event.

WHEREAS, The West Allis community plans to celebrate the first annual West Allis Ala Carte, and West Allis Ala Carte is planned to be a family oriented event including a variety of Downtown West Allis Business Improvement District and other West Allis restaurants, West Allis and regional artists, charitable organizations, participation of West Allis schools, representation of businesses located in the Downtown West Allis Business Improvement District along with other vendors, a battle of the bands, other games and activites, a Centennial Plaza Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, and entertainment and activities to be held at the Centennial Plaza, and
WHEREAS, West Allis Ala Carte is scheduled for June 8, 2008 between 11:00 A.M. and 7:00 P.M.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Common Council of the City of West Allis declares West Allis Ala Carte a community event and permits the possession and consumption of fermented malt beverages on City streets within the Business Improvement District boundaries on June 8, 2008 between 11:00 A.M. and 7:00 P.M.
