Resolution authorizing the Director of Development to enter into a Lease Agreement for the placement of temporary banner(s) on the former Pressed Steel Tank smoke stack located at 14** S. Six Points Crossing.
Body
WHEREAS, the placement of temporary banner(s) would promote redevelopment to the Six Points/Farmers Market Redevelopment Area; and,
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission on January 27, 2010 reviewed and approved the use of temporary banners being placed on the former Pressed Steel Tank smoke stack.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the Director of Development is hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the City to enter into a Lease Agreement, a preliminary draft is hereby attached, for the placement of temporary banner(s) on the former Pressed Steel Tank smoke stack located at 14** S. Six Points Crossing.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Development is hereby authorized to negotiate the Terms and Conditions of said Lease Agreement at his discretion, subject to the approval of the City Attorney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized to make such substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various provisions of the Agreement, including any and all attachments, exhibits, addendums and amendments, as may be necessary and proper to correct inconsistencies, eliminate ambiguity and otherwise clarify and supplement said provisions to preserve and maintain the general intent thereof, and to prepare and deliver such other and further documents as may be reasonably necessary to complete the transactions contemplated therein.
