Title

Resolution Relative to the Notice of Hearing for the Vacation and Discontinuance of a Public Alley East of South 106^th Street Between West Washington Street and West Madison Street.

Body

WHEREAS, the City is considering vacating and discontinuing a Public Alley East of South 106^th Street Between West Washington Street and West Madison Street.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Notice of Hearing, a copy of which is attached hereto, for the vacation and discontinuance of a Public Alley East of South 106^th Street Between West Washington Street and West Madison Street, be published in the official City newspaper, the NOW, on August 25^th, September 1^st, and September 8^th, 2011; that the Hearing be scheduled before the Common Council on September 30^th, 2011, at 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard; that a copy of the aforesaid Notice be served or mailed more than thirty (30) days prior to the Hearing in the manner prescribed by the law on the owners of all of the frontage of the lots and lands abutting upon the said portion of an alley proposed to be vacated and discontinued.
