Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Henderson Truck Equipment for furnishing and delivering three (3) Henderson Mark III dump bodies for a total sum of $10,242.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received proposals for furnishing and delivering three (3) 9' dump truck bodies for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Henderson Truck Equipment be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated May 1, 2003 submitted by Henderson Truck Equipment for furnishing and delivering three (3) 2003 Henderson Mark III dump bodies for the total net sum of $10,242.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order for the aforesaid equipment.
