Resolution relative to transferring $5,475.00 from the contingency fund to the Public Works Department Landscape Materials Accounts.
Body
WHEREAS, The lead time for placing an order for flowering plant materials to be used in City boulevards in 2004 requires an order prior to December 1, 2003; and,
WHEREAS, The necessary funds to purchase the flowers have be included in the 2004 budget; and,
WHEREAS, The City of West Allis Purchasing Division has obtained competitive bids for flowering plants for the year 2004.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the sum of $5,475.00 be and is hereby transferred from Contingency Account 100-000-1-912.00 to the Public Works Department Boulevard Maintenance Account 100-664-5-375.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Contingency Fund will be repaid a like sum from the 2004 Public Works Department Boulevard Maintenance Account.
