Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposals of GexPro Electric and CED Interstate Electric for furnishing and delivering electrical wire, conduit, luminaires and accessories for a total sum of $59,907.80.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering electrical wire, conduit, luminaires and accessories for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposals of GexPro Electric and CED Interstate Electric be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated March 25, 2015 submitted by GexPro Electric for furnishing PVC conduit in the amount of $6,146.20 and the proposal dated March 25, 2015 submitted by CED Interstate Electric for furnishing conduit, connectors, fuses, fuseholders and luminaires in the amount of $53,761.60 for a total net sum of $59,907.80 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP 1272 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid materials.
