Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Wausau Equipment Company, Inc. for furnishing and delivering four snow plow blades and accessories for a total sum of $41,940.00.
Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Division has reported that it has received a cooperative proposal through the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) Contract #080114-WAS for furnishing and delivering hydraulic plow blades and accessories to the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Wausau Equipment Co. be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposals dated June 12, 2017 submitted by Wausau Equipment Co. for providing and delivering four (4) each Wausau HSP4211H 11-foot polyethylene plow blade assemblies with carbide curb shoes, and Kennametal I.C.E. blades, at a cost of $10,485.00 each, for a total net sum of $41,940.00, with funding provided by the Public Works, General Fund, Capital Items, Vehicles, and will be charged to Account No. 100-4501-533-70-02, be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid materials.
