Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Allcom of Wisconsin, Inc. for providing computer network upgrade services for a total net sum of $43,918.61.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a proposal for providing engineering, installation and material services for upgrading the computer network infrastructure for the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Allcom of Wisconsin, Inc. be accepted; and,
WHEREAS, the Information Services Division of the Department of Administration & Finance has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection due to hardware compatibility requirements of the remaining network equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated February 27, 2004 submitted by Allcom of Wisconsin, Inc. for furnishing and installing 3COM network equipment for the total net sum of $43,918.61 in accordance with their proposal be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid services.
