Resolution relative to determination of an Application for a Special Use Permit for Perspective Brewing Company, a proposed microbrewery, to be located at 7506-7508 W. Greenfield Ave.

WHEREAS, Naus Brewing LLC d/b/a Perspective Brewing Company, duly filed with the City Clerk an application for a Special Use Permit, pursuant to Sec. 12.16 and Sec. 12.40(2) of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis, to establish a microbrewery (food production, limited) in an existing building located at 7506-7508 W. Greenfield Ave.
WHEREAS, after due notice, a public hearing was held by the Common Council on January 5, 2021 at 7:00 p.m., in the Common Council Chambers to consider the application; and,
WHEREAS, the Common Council, having carefully considered the evidence presented at the public hearing and the following pertinent facts noted:
1. The applicant, Naus Brewing LLC d/b/a Perspective Brewing Company, has offices at 260 East Parkway Estates Drive, Oak Creek, Wisconsin, and intends to purchase the property at 7506-7508 W. Greenfield Ave.
2. The proposed microbrewery is located within the existing building located at 7506-7508 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
All the land of the owner being part of the Otjen Pullen and Shenner's Subdivision, Block 10, located in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 34, Township 7 North, Range 21 East, City of West Allis, Milwaukee County, State of Wisconsin, describes as follows:
Lot 24 in Block 10 of the Otjen Pullen and Shenner's Subdivision.
Tax Key No. 440-0445-000
Said land being located at 7506-7508 W. Greenfield Ave.
3. Perspective Brewing will establish a brewery, taproom, outdoor beer garden, and food truck space within the existing building and parcel boundaries. Perspective Brewing will serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic craft beverages, and light food options in addition to the food truck service.
