Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of J&M Displays, Inc. for furnishing the 4th of July fireworks for a total sum of $10,000.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it received a proposal for furnishing 4th of July ground and aerial fireworks display for the Celebrations Committee of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of J&M Displays, Inc. be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated January 29, 2004 submitted by J&M Displays, Inc. for furnishing the 2004 4th of July ground and aerial fireworks display for a total net sum of $10,000.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid services.
