Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Gerber Leisure Products, Inc. for furnishing and delivering playground equipment for a total sum of $44,469.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering playground equipment for Roger's Park of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Gerber Leisure Products, Inc. be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated June 11, 2007 submitted by Gerber Leisure Products, Inc. for furnishing one (1) Landscape Structure play structure, two (2) spring toys, wood fiber surfacing and play structure borders for the total net sum of $44,469.00 to be funded by a Community Development Block Grant be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
