Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Sherwin Industries for furnishing and delivering one (1) Asphalt Hot Box for a total sum of $44,270.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering one (1) Asphalt Hot Box for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Sherwin Industries be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated December 5, 2015 submitted by Sherwin Industries for furnishing one (1) 2016 Spaulding Mfg. Inc. Model 4YDS slip-in style asphalt hot box for $39,630.00 with a hydraulic tamper carrier for $2,150.00, rock box for $450, flame windows in burners for $440.00, hydraulic operated material tray for $950.00 and 30’ hose reel for $650.00 for a total net sum of $44,270.00 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP 1301 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
