Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Library Furniture International, Inc.for furnishing DVD and Video Display Shelving for a total net sum of $17,936.04.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a proposal for furnishing library shelving, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Library Furniture International, Inc. be accepted; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of the West Allis Public Library has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection due to the functional and attractive design of the shelving proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated March 11, 2003 submitted by Library Furniture International, Inc. for furnishing thirteen (13) Vision Gondola shelving for the total net sum of $17,936.04 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order for the aforesaid furniture.
