Resolution approving an amendment to the FY 2019 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Action Plan to provide an additional $76,500 to the Farmers Market Lead Abatement Project.
Body
WHEREAS, the Farmers Market Lead Abatement Project has a budget of $300,000; and,
WHEREAS, the lead based paint needs to be abated at the Farmers Market and the lowest bid came in at $376,500, and to provide for financing an additional $76,500 is needed; and,
WHEREAS, the Liberty Heights Project has a budget of $150,000; and,
WHEREAS, $76,500 can be decreased from the Liberty Heights budget to increase the Farmer Market Lead Abatement budget so as to fund the project this year; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Development recommends the allocation and transfer of funds from the Liberty Heights budget into the Farmers Market Lead Abatement budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that it hereby approves an amendment to the Community Development Block Grant Program FY 2019 Action Plan, relative to increasing the Farmers Market Lead Abatement budget of $300,000 by $76,500 for a total budget of $376,500, with funds coming from the Liberty Heights budgeted activity.
