Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Bruce Municipal Equipment for furnishing and installing three (3) rear load refuse collection packers for a total sum of $322,179.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and installing three (3) 20 cu. yd. refuse collection packers to the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Bruce Municipal Equipment be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated November 17, 2015 submitted by Bruce Municipal Equipment for furnishing and installing three (3) 2016 Heil DP-5000 20 cu. yd. rear load refuse collection packers for $102,043.00 each and three (3) auto grease systems for packer, cab & chassis for $5,350.00 each for a total net sum of $322,179.00 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP #1295 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
