Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Peterbilt Wisconsin for furnishing and delivering one (1) cab & chassis for a total sum of $131,072.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering one (1) truck cab and chassis for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Peterbilt Wisconsin be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the revised proposal dated January 8, 2011 submitted by Peterbilt Wisconsin for furnishing one (1) 2012 Peterbilt 320, 54,000 GVW low entry truck cab & chassis for $128,722.00 and a 5-year engine & after treatment warranty for $2,350.00 for a total sum of $131,072.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
