Title

An Ordinance to Create Subsections 10.12(1) of the West Allis Revised Municipal Code Relating to Miscellaneous Parking Regulations

Body

The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:

PART I.      Subsection 10.12(1) of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis is hereby created to read:

10.12      MISCELLANEOUS PARKING REGULATIONS.

(1)      Double Parking.

(a)      No person may stop or leave standing any vehicle, whether attended or unattended and whether temporarily or otherwise, on the roadway side of any parked vehicle unless double parking is clearly indicated by official traffic signs or markers.

(b)      Any person violating the restrictions set forth in subsection 10.12(1)(a) above, shall be subject to a forfeiture of $75.00.

PART II.      All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

PART III.      This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
