Title

Ordinance to amend Section 12.40(2)(p) of the Revised Municipal Code to permit indoor recreation facilities as a special use in the C-1 Central Business District

Body

The Common Council of the City of West Allis does ordain as follows:

PART I.                     Section 12.40(2)(p) of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis is hereby created to read:

12.40                     C-1 Central Business District.

(2)                     Special Uses

* * *

(p)                     Indoor recreation facilities including the following:

(i)                     Indoor driving range and batting cages

(ii)                     Indoor volleyball courts

(iii)                     Indoor basketball courts

(iv)                     Indoor bowling alleys

(v)                     Game centers and tournament facilities (not arcades as regulated in Section 9.10 of the Revised Municipal Code)

PART II.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

PART III.  This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
