Resolution relative to accepting the proposals of Neher Electric Supply Co and All Lighting Inc. for furnishing and delivering Street Lamps for a total sum of $31,591.92.

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering street lamps for the Public Work's Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposals of Neher Electric Supply and All Lighting Inc. be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated October 22, 2009 submitted by Neher Electric Supply for furnishing 1620 low pressure sodium lamps for $24,787.80 and 900 high pressure sodium lamps for $6,075.00 and the proposal dated October 21, 2009 submitted by All Lighting Inc. for furnishing 48 metal halide lamps for $729.12 for a total amount of $31,591.92 in accordance with City of West Allis RFQ #1055 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
