Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Synergy Broadcast Systems for furnishing a Video Server Playback System for a total net sum of $108,760.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that the Cable Communications Office has received a proposal for furnishing and installing software and hardware for program playback and bulletin board distribution, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, the Cable Communications Office of the Department of Administration & Finance has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection due to the single source availability of equipment meeting their technical requirements.
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Synergy Broadcast Systems be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated July 29, 2003 submitted by Synergy Broadcast Systems for one (1) PEG-i-STOR video server with PEG-i-SYS master control and digital encoder complete system with related hardware, software and installation for the total net sum of $108,760.00 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order for the aforesaid equipment.
