WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bid received as shown on the attached bid report was unresponsive and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of J.H. Hassinger, Inc. for 2017 Project No. 13 be rejected.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of J.H. Hassinger, Inc. for 2017 Project No. 13 for the construction of a two story house with no basement, no fixed interior walls, no plumbing, no fire protection, baseboard heating, limited electrical, and a detached garage that will be used as a training facility at:

for the sum of Two Hundred Forty-Seven Thousand, Two Hundred and 00/100 dollars ($247,200.00) be rejected.
