WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of James Luterbach Construction Co., Inc. for 2004 Project No. 9 be accepted.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of James Luterbach Construction Co., Inc. for 2004 Project No. 9:
 
Remodeling/Conversion of Existing West Allis Veterans' Park Pavilion,
6900 W. National Ave., to a Police Satellite Station
 
for a combined sum outlined as follows:
 
Lump Sum Base Bid for Building Alterations           $151,900
Three New Furnace/AC Units                                    $  42,980
Signage                                                                        $  10,000
Contingency                                                                $  20,000
 
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by the Land and Building Fund.
