Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of The Mueller Company for furnishing and delivering fire hydrants for a total sum of $72,044.10.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for fire hydrants for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of The Mueller Company be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated June 26, 2007 submitted by The Mueller Company for furnishing Fifty Four (54) 2007 Mueller A-423SC fire hydrants for $72,044.10 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP #956 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
