Title

Resolution Authorizing and Directing the Director of Public Works/City Engineer to Pay for Sanitary Sewer Repairs at 2469 South 59^th Street in the Amount of $1,440.00.

Body

WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works has a long standing policy of the City's responsibility for making repairs to sanitary sewer laterals from the point of connection to the main sanitary sewer line up through the riser connection; and,

WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has determined that the sanitary sewer lateral connection at 2469 South 59^th  Street failed based on televised observations; and,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the Director of Public Works/City Engineer be and is hereby authorized and directed to make fair payment for the repair work to Milwaukee Plumbing & Piping, Inc. in the amount of $1,440.00.  Payment to be made from the appropriate Sanitary Sewer Utility account.
