Body

WHEREAS Canine Waldo began his career with the West Allis Police Department on April 4, 1998.

WHEREAS Canine Waldo was assigned as the full time partner of Officer Andy Butorac together they participated in numerous narcotics seizures and the tracking of suspects.

WHEREAS Canine Waldo will be retiring within the next month.

BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that Canine Waldo be given as a gift, to Officer Andy Butorac and his family with the obligation that Officer Butorac and his family assume all future costs and liabilities associated with Canine Waldo.
