Title

Resolution approving an amendment to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program FY2010, West Allis Business Improvement District activity.

Body

WHEREAS, the West Allis Business Improvement District activity was previously amended to support assessments for an alley improvement project; and,

WHEREAS, since the alley improvement project was bid without federal provisions and wage requirements, the activity could not use CDBG funds; and,

WHEREAS, in order for the West Allis Business Improvement District (BID) to best utilize the federal funds, the activity should be amended to allow the BID to use CDBG funds for operational costs.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that it hereby approves an amendment to the Community Development Block Grant Program FY 2010, West Allis Business Improvement District activity.
