Resolution relative to approving an interagency fiscal agent agreement with the City of Cudahy for the Milwaukee/Waukesha County Emergency Preparedness Consortium

Body

WHEREAS, since 2002 the West Allis Health Department has been part of an emergency preparedness consortium with thirteen other health departments to develop response plans for public health emergencies.

 

WHEREAS, since 2002 the City of Wauwatosa has served as the fiscal agent for the state grant that funds the consortium but has declined to continue in that role.

 

WHEREAS, the City of Cudahy has agreed to take over the role of consortium fiscal agent.

 

WHEREAS, the City of Cudahy has requested that consortium members sign a fiscal agent contract that specifies the responsibilities of all parties.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the attached interagency agreement between the City of West Allis and the City of Cudahy be and is hereby approved.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the Health Commissioner is authorized and directed to execute said agreement on behalf of the City.
