Resolution to approve bid of Payne & Dolan, Inc. for the installation of concrete curb and gutter, concrete base, concrete sidewalk, HMA Pavement, storm sewer relay, water main relay, pavement marking, building services and utility adjustments in W. Lincoln Ave. from Union Pacific Railroad to S. 61st St. in the City of West Allis in the amount of $1,182,100.00.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Payne & Dolan, Inc. for 2017 Project No. 8 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Payne & Dolan, Inc. for 2017 Project No. 8 for the installation of concrete curb and gutter, concrete base, concrete sidewalk, HMA Pavement, storm sewer relay, water main relay, pavement marking, building services and utility adjustments in:
West Lincoln Avenue from Union Pacific Railroad to South 61st Street
(PLAN FILE NOS. SP-1226, W-1362, X-860, X-861, M-17)
for the sum of One Million, One Hundred Eighty-Two Thousand, One Hundred and 00/100 dollars ($1,182,100.00)
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Sanitary Sewer Funds, Storm Water Management Funds, Water Utility Funds, Bond Funds, Funds from Special Assessments and Funds from the City of Milwaukee.
