Title
An Ordinance to Amend Subsections 9.02(16)(a) and (b) of the Revised Municipal Code Relating to the Period of Validity of Operator's Licenses and to Amend the Fee Therefore in Subsection 9.02(21)(h) of the Revised Municipal Code.

The Common Council of the City of West Allis do ordain as follows:
PART I. Subsections 9.02(16)(a) and (b) of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of West Allis are hereby amended to read:
9.02 ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES.

(16) Operator's Licenses.
(a) Operator's License I. An "Operator's License I" shall entitle the holder thereof to work as an operator upon premises licensed under a retail Class "A" or retail Class "B" Intoxicating Liquor or Fermented Malt Beverage license. Such licenses will be issued by the Common Council only to persons meeting the requirements set forth in sections 125.04(5) and 125.17(6) of the Wisconsin Statutes. The license shall be valid for a period of two years, except that it shall be deemed to have been issued on July 1st and shall expire on June 30th of the second year.
(b) Operator's License II. An "Operator's License II" shall entitle the holder thereof to work as an operator upon premises licensed under a retail Class "A" Intoxicating Liquor or Fermented Malt Beverage License only. Such license may be issued by the Common Council only to persons meeting the requirements set forth in sections 125.04(5) and 125.17(6) of the Wisconsin Statutes. The license shall be valid for a period of two years, except that it shall be deemed to have been issued on July 1st and shall expire on June 30th of the second year.
