WHEREAS, South 124th Street is programmed to be reconstructed in 2018 and the 124th Street Culvert over the Root River is in urgent need of repair, and

WHEREAS, The City has an existing agreement with Corre, Inc. for bridge inspection services at all twelve (12) bridges in the City of West Allis and to prepare plans, specifications and estimates for the needed repairs on the Lincoln Avenue Culvert for an amount not to exceed $23,332.62; and,

WHEREAS, The City will need further assistance from Corre, Inc. to prepare plans, specifications and estimates for bidding out the needed repairs on the 124th Street Culvert for an amount not to exceed $8,052.00.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the amended proposal dated December 7, 2017 submitted by Corre, Inc. for furnishing Engineering Consulting Services for the needed repairs to the 124th Street Culvert for a total sum not to exceed $8,052.00 be and is hereby accepted. Funding for this project has been budgeted and is available in the Capital Projects Fund with the Engineering Consulting Services being charged to the 124th Street project.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Interim City Engineer be and is hereby authorized to make such non-substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various provisions of the Contract, including any and all attachments, exhibits, addendums and amendments, as may be necessary and proper to correct inconsistencies, eliminate ambiguity and otherwise clarify and supplement said provisions to preserve and maintain the general intent thereof, and to prepare and deliver such other and further documents as may be reasonably necessary t...
