Resolution to approve a Purchase and Sale Agreement by and between the Community Development Authority of the City of West Allis and GCG Acquisitions, LLP for the property located at the southeast corner of W. Greenfield Ave. and S. 65 St.

Body

WHEREAS, the Community Development Authority of the City of West Allis (the "Authority") is the owner of certain vacant property located at the southeast corner of W. Greenfield Ave. and S. 65 St. (the "Property"); and,

WHEREAS, the West Allis Plan Commission, at its meeting of December 4, 2002, recommended approval of the sale of the Property and the proposed ordinance to establish a Planned Development District Commercial (PDD-2); and,

WHEREAS, a Class II Notice of a Public Hearing on the proposed sale has been duly published and a Public Hearing was held before the Authority on January 3, 2003.

WHEREAS, the Authority, by Resolution No. 404, adopted January 3, 2003, approved the sale of certain real property in the Six Points/Farmers Market Redevelopment Area to GCG Acquisitions, LLP.; and,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis, pursuant to Wis. Stats. 66.431(9)(a)1., that the Community Development Authority of the City of West Allis is authorized to proceed with the disposition of certain real property in the Six Points/Farmers Market Redevelopment Area as described in the Purchase and Sale Agreement and Development Agreement, hereby attached and made a part hereof.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Development be and is hereby authorized to execute and deliver the Agreements on behalf of the City of West Allis.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized to make such non-substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various provisions of the Agreement, including any and all attachments, exhibits, addendums and amendments, as may be necessary and proper to correct inconsistenci...
