Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of The Mueller Company for furnishing and delivering fire hydrants for a total sum of $122,926.68.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering fire hydrants for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of The Mueller Company be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated 11/2/05 submitted by The Mueller Company for furnishing one hundred-eight (108) 2005 Mueller A-423-S250 fire hydrants for a total net sum of $122,926.68 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP #896 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid material.
