WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of LaLonde Contractors, Inc. for 2007 Project No. 9 be accepted.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of LaLonde Contractors, Inc. for 2007 Project No. 9:
 
Street Construction, Water Main Relay, Sanitary Sewer Relay, Storm Sewer, Building Services, and Utility Adjustments
W. Dixon St. from S. 116 St. to S. Curtis Rd.
 S. 118 St. from W. Fairview Ave. to W. Dixon St.
(Plan File No(s). SP-1116, SP-1117, U-2443, W-1232, and W-1233)
 
for the sum of Six hundred sixty six thousand, two hundred ninety-five dollars even ($666,295.00)
 
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding from Bond Funds, Sanitary Sewer Funds, Storm Water Management Funds, Water Utility Funds, and Special Assessments.
