Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of VariTech Industries, Inc. for providing three (3) Brine Anti-Icing Units for a total sum of $40,632.50.

Body

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Division has reported that it has received proposals for furnishing and delivering Brine Anti-Icing Units to the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of VariTech Industries, Inc. be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated December 1, 2015 submitted by VariTech Industries, Inc. for furnishing and delivering one (1) VariTech 925 gallon Brine Anti-Ice Unit for $10,904.30 and two (2) VariTech 1850 gallon Brine Anti-Ice Units for $29,728.20 for a total sum of $40,632.50 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
