Title

Resolution Authorizing and Directing the Director of Public Works/City Engineer to Pay For Sanitary Sewer Lateral Repairs at 5733-35 West Fillmore Drive in the Total Amount of $8,752.82.

Body

WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works has a long standing policy of the City's responsibility for making repairs to sanitary sewer laterals from the point of connection to the main sanitary sewer line up through the riser connection; and,

WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has determined that the sanitary sewer lateral at 5733-35 West Fillmore Drive failed based on field observations; and,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the Director of Public Works/City Engineer be and is hereby authorized and directed to make fair payment for the repair work to Rozga Plumbing & Heating Corp. in the amount of $8,352.82 and to James Rick for reimbursement for invoices paid by Mr. Rick to Rozga Plumbing & Heating Corp. for services related to the lateral failure in the amount of $400.  Payment to be made from the appropriate Sanitary Sewer Utility account.
